Thoughts? I'll do it if a couple of other people want to.
Possible themes so far:
Family Life -- In which your character could play the child or the parent...or anything.
Most [fill in the blank] Moment --most embarrassing, most frightening, most exciting...your pick.
Letters -- Love letters, diary entries, class notes, doodles and scribbles, etc. from any point in the life of your character.
Or, if you'd like to suggest a theme, be my guest.
A refresher on the rules (which aren't strictly enforced, but...):
1. Try not to be too far under 1,000 words. If you're not, nobody will yell at you, but 1,000 words is roughly the minimum for a well-written one-shot. I don't think it's too much to ask, either, because you get a couple weeks to write.
2. Your story must be related (even loosely) to the challenge that is eventually selected and it must be in your character's point of view.
3. Don't write to win the challenge, write on something you'll have fun with.
4. No NC-17, esp. when related to violence. You can, however, use as much swearing as you'd like. FUCKSHITFUCK!
5. Your story doesn't have to follow HP canon after the point from which the story starts. Lily and James can be thirty-three and have fourteen kids, if you want to write your story from this particular point in time and you want to pretend that James doesn't like condoms, or whatever.
6. You can use any other character from site, no need to ask that person. Don't get offended if someone makes your character off to be a jerk. It doesn't mean they don't like you. Probably.
Anything else?
